I went into the city yesterday to drop off some materials for my Scout Monosling design, which is now in the sample making stage with my production team in Manhattan (!!!!)
While there, I finally got the chance to stop into a leather hide store where I found three new hides to take back to my studio. I wanted to take a moment to explain what the term ‘deadstock’ means when it comes to leather, as these are the hides I prefer to work with in my collections.
While my Scout Monosling design moves slowly towards production, I’m still creating one-of-a-kind work. My next collection will be released this season.

I went to your shop and Caycous’ shop several times, but never had the chance to meet. I bought a few items, and even some scrap leather, before you closed. I pray you fun and success in Brooklyn. Can’t wait to see what you create. Cheers.
